The microstepping micro-passo STP300M, module is suitable for high-performance bipolar motor stepper driving..

This driver can operate from 12 to 48Vdc with a phase current selectable up to 3A by means of dip-switches.

STP300M has currrent boost/reduction command, built-in microstep resolution (up to 256 microsteps) and offers high performances with all different stepper motors reducing total power dissipations, mechanical vibration and noise.

All settings are practicable by means of dip-switches or TTL interface; standard inputs and outputs are opto-coupled.

A wide series of accessories are also avalaible to complete and customize the application..

  • Fully protected over short-circuits, overtemperatures and overvoltages

  • Opto-coupled inputs for noisy enviroments; TTL interface

 TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Supply voltage
12 ÷ 48Vdc

Phase current
From 400mA to 3A in 8 equally speced steps by changing the dipswitch settings.

Automatic current
BOOST/reduction

The nominal phase current is automatically reduced by 30% after 200ms from the last step received.

Resolution
14 different resolution (decimal and binary) up to 51200 steps/revolution (256 micro-steps) DIP-switch settings.

Motor types
For stepper motor with 4,6 or 8 windings in serial or parallel mode.
Configurable for high and low inductance motors.

DIRECTION input
Optically insulated direction input. This input selects the CCW or CW rotation mode.

STEP input
Minimum width: 1us
Maximu step rate 10MHz.

Enable input (All windings off)
Optically insulated input. This input enables the driver output stage and, when disabled, the motor is de-energized.

FAULT output
Open collector output (max 50mA, 30Vcc), active low, used to signal the working condition to a PC or PLC.
